Max Snijder, founder and CEO of Biometric Capital Partners, is one of the leading international experts on biometrics in Europe. He is involved in the key areas of the biometrics business. On European level he is involved in numerous workshops, committees and expert groups. He has large experience with advising industries on biometric implementations and business cases. After his career in the security printing industry he started his own biometric consulting company the Biometric Expertise Group. As independent consultant he is frequently being hired to review, supervise and monitor projects that involve biometrics. He works for several European member states’ governments on passports, AFIS and visa projects. He is independent expert for the European Commission. Since 2005 he holds a position as CEO of the European Biometrics Forum. He is Chairman of the International Biometrics Advisory Council. Max Snijder holds several degrees in marketing and business administration and has over 10 years of experience in the biometrics and security business.

Christer Bergman is a well-known business leader in the Security and Biometrics industry. He currently serves in Boards of Director for several high tech companies. Mr. Bergman was the President and CEO of Precise Biometrics, Inc., between 2000 and 2006. He also served as a Member of the Precise Biometrics Board of Directors between 2005 until 2007. Prior to joining Precise Biometrics, he held numerous positions in the high tech industries in the US and Europe. The focus of his services is within the Biometrics and Security industry as well as business development and business expansion for non-US based companies into the US marketplace. Mr. Bergman is a member of the board of the International Biometrics Industry Association (IBIA).

Michiel Kraak is working as an independent consultant in the field of Innovation Management and specialises in biometrics. In his definition, Innovation Management encompasses the business aspects of front-running and break-through technologies, including business planning en development, corporate structure and finance, product and technology development and intellectual property rights. He advises several members from the industry and the central and local government on the business application of biometrics. He has a strong industrial and technological background and nearly a decade of hands-on experience with biometrics, a.o. as the CEO of Dartagnan Biometric Solutions and as a board member of Joh. Enschedé, a Dutch security printing company.
Michiel Kraak holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Delft University of Technology.

Alex Polman is a Certified Public Accountant and seasoned Finance Executive with over 15 years of international experience. He has worked in the Media and Aerospace industry as well as the Biometric industry. He has held several senior finance positions in the media, aerospace and biometrics industry. He started his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Business Assurance practice. He was involved in many corporate finance assignments and IPO’s. He has operated on European, US and Asian markets.
